Our liners are manufactured using a reinforced polypropylene coated fabric, specifically designed for a wide range of water and effluent containment and storage applications. This is a light but strong fabric, as opposed to the much heavier traditional pond lining material, making it much easier and faster to install. The liner is made by us in our workshop and then shipped to site, which eliminates weather related stoppages and potential contamination of the welding joins.

Our durable and easy to install pond liners are welded to suit your size requirements – no liner is too small or large for us!

  • 20 year UV warranty against UV degradation
  • 400gsm or 480gsm Polypropylene – light weight enabling large liners or liner sections to be prefabricated for speedy installation
  • BPA free
  • AS/NZS 4020 approved for contact with potable water – ideal for grey, black and potable water storage applications. One liner material suits most applications.
  • Environmentally friendly Polypropylene – both the manufacture and eventual disposal of the 100% recyclable material ensures minimal impact on the environment with no chlorine or heavy metals in the production of the product.
  • Tested to 39m waterhead (400kPa)
  • Complies with 3.6.1 of AS2304-2011 (Water storage tanks for fire protection systems)
  • High strength material with durable layered technology supported by high strength woven base material
  • Watertight joints are achieved utilizing double weld heat welding
  • Conforms to the seepage requirement of less than 0.1mm/1cbm per day
  • Generally, any liquid with a pH in the range of 6-8 is able to be in contact with this fabric, pH of 4 & less is not suitable. Between pH4 & pH6, you will need to seek advice from us as to suitability. If the storage requirement is above pH 10, this fabric is not suitable.
  • This fabric is available in either 400gsm (0.5mm thickness) or 480gsm (0.65mm thickness)

So long as there are no sharp objects (rocks, roots, etc) in contact with the liner, a Geomembrane underlay should not be required. We are happy to send a sample of our fabric if you would like us to.

Need repairs?

If you do get a hole in your liner and want to repair it yourself, please contact us for repair tape and follow the directions below:

  1. Clean the area by scrubbing hard with a Jif-type product.
  2. The area must be clean and dry before applying the tape.
  3. Tape must be warm; best to apply on a day over 20 degrees – needs to be sticky before applying.

Measuring for your Liner

Measure following the red line in the diagram below

Trench – the bigger the dam, the bigger and wider the trench will need to be – speak with your contractor.

Slope of walls – usually around 1:3 ratio – the larger the dam, the longer the walls – speak with your contractor.

We are liner experts so make sure you seek advice from a civil contractor first, they are the earthworks and design experts.
