Pergolas - TM Covers

We can install tensioned fabric within your pergola frame – steel or wood, it doesn’t matter as long as the structure is strong enough.

These can be made using either PVC mesh or shade cloth. When you want edge to edge shade, PVC mesh is the best choice. If you want to make a statement with the curves of a shade sail, then shade cloth is what we would recommend.

Pergola shades can also be made waterproof, provided there is a minimum slope of 20% to ensure the water can run off and reduce the risk of water pooling on the fabric and causing damage or stretch.

Caring for your Shade

To care for your shade panels, wash with a gentle soap solution using a soft brush and rinse with a hose. Please do not use leave-on chemical products or a water blaster as these may damage the fabric.

Transport and Marine Covers spent time making us, and donating  to us, a shade sail to cover the new deck and building built by the students in the building programme  at NMIT. The shade sail reduces the sauna effect from the sun in our new exterior Counselling room, ties the outdoor area together and provides shade from the intensity of the sun for lunchtime  relaxing and sharing, for extended workshop space and for clients to relax and enjoy our outdoor space.
