Our manual roll-up outdoor screens are custom-made in our factory in Nelson. They are the most cost-effective system of screens we offer and as such, we have made and installed many of them over the years. Attached to your structure at the top with rope track, they are very versatile in the way they are attached at the sides and bottom. You can use bungy and hook them on to your side supports or, alternatively attach them at the bottom, or both sides and bottom. We can also install zips onto your side supports and create a closed area which can be unzipped. If you have more than one blind they can be zipped together - straight across and around corners too. Now you can see why we sell lots and lots of these!
At the bottom of each blind is an aluminium tube in a pocket - this keeps the blinds nice and flat.
Both our clear & coloured PVCs are fire retardant. Click here to see the border PVC colour options.
With outdoor mesh blinds, there is also a wide range of both textures and colours. These blinds look great in either clear PVC or mesh.

Fabrics
Exterior Solar Screens
SunTex is a unique woven mesh that can block 80-90% of the sun’s hot rays before they enter your window. Perfect for outdoor blinds, exterior solar screens and sun shading applications, SunTex 80/90 fabrics can be used for your window screens, door screens, patio, motorized shade, patio shades, or canopy. Suntex 80 has an Openness Factor of 20% & Suntex 90, 10%.
Exterior Shading and Energy Saving
SunTex exterior shading fabric is made of strong vinyl-coated polyester and is pet resistant. SunTex is mildew and fade resistant and needs only an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. What you may not know about SunTex 80/90 is that it can help with energy savings by reducing the heating effect of the sun’s rays.
